A Perfect Picture

Mid-Year Exam

I really thought I screwed up in this mid-year exam,
I would not even get to the TOP 10,
I cried and regretted myself for not learning much harder than before,

When I thought that I did really badly;

I did not had the appetite to eat,

It was just sad and painful for me,

My heart shattered into pieces;

I was broken,

All those times;

I tried to put my worries at the back of my head and locked it,

But sometimes it sneaked out and I was dead worried once more.

That was what happened before,

I learnt my mistakes,

I admitted that I was foolish,

I prayed; I prayed,

I asked for His forgiveness,

I was very sorry,

I really hope that this exam’s results will not break my parents’ heart,

Their feelings are the most important to me,

I did not care whatever results I will get,

But I could never want to see the shame and sad faces from my family,

I just could not.

Being A Village Girl

The sky is clear,
The sun is burning,
The wind is blowing,
and the trees are dancing.

It is freezing in the morning,
boiling in the afternoon,
and perfect in the night.

Countless work to do,
No time to play,
No time to rest.
One work waiting after another.
Thousands to be done;
but the moon quickly rushing through the night.
Another day replaces another.

People went out and in;
but she remains.
Life of a village girl.

Allah Knows - Zain Bhika

This song is my top song this week. When I heard this song, my heart felt calm and happy. I hope you enjoy this song as much as I do.

So Far Away

So far away,
But yet,
Only one and half year left,
How I felt so scared,
Nervous overcome me.

All I've been studying so far,
Seemed so far,
How I tried,
But I just couldn't,
My brain seemed to be so weak,
To receive all this new knowledge,
Just so far away.

I would think of my dream,
Comparing to my studying status now,
My dream is miles away,
So far away,
I am not sure if I will ever had the chance,
To fulfill the dream of mine.

Everything just so far away,
Just out of my reached,
Even my very own dream(s).

Sports Day at SMKTK

On the 7th March 2009, my school held a Sports Day. I did not participate in any of the sports which are all involved running. I also did not participate in the marching.

First, I tell you how Sports Day works in Malaysia. All students and teachers are divided into at least 4 teams which are known as ‘House (Rumah)’. At my school there are:

Red House – Maharaja

Blue House – Bendahara

Green House – Hulubalang

Yellow House – Kesatria

My mum and I are in the Kesatria House. My mum was involved at the decorating the ‘house’ tent. Teacher Liza, Teacher Nor Zalimah and my mum worked very hard to be the first at the ‘house decorations contest’. They came out with the idea to have a statue of Lion King at the front of the tent. This is where I came involve at decorating the house tent side by side with my mum. I have been asked to draw the lion.

I was shocked at first, but I was very excited when I found a very cool Lion King picture from the internet. I was finally able to draw and paint again. How I miss it all. The happiness when I sketched the lion with the pencil and rubber at my left hand, the mixture of the paint and the very careful brush strokes. I found the happiness that I have been longing to feel for ages since I left Shawlands Academy June 2008. I could still remember my art teachers told me to keep painting, and I did. Mak helped me at some bit. But the best of all, surprisingly, the lion turned out to be quite amazing. I was very thankful to God and my art teachers.

After all the hard work, our house, Kesatria came first at the ‘house decorations contest’. My mum and I were very happy.

Pictures? We do not have a camera at the moment. I am saving my school money to buy a camera but it will take a whole year to be able to buy one. Do not worry, My P.E teacher, Mrs Liza and my Physics Practical teacher, Miss Syuhada brought their own cameras. They lend me their cameras. Thank you very much to both of them. Thanks to them, I could improve the way I took photos.

On The Way Home From School!!!

Is my happiness lies here?
The smiles,
I wonder how it was formed on my lips,
There wasn't any signs of tiredness,
But the reality is,
I was very tired everyday,
How I wanted to cuddle at my comfy pillows.

Is school really my happiness?
I hope I will find the answer soon...
